Implantology

Implantology is the branch of dentistry that deals with replacing missing teeth with artificial titanium roots anchored in the bone. The implant is made of titanium, a completely inert material that cannot give any type of adverse reaction to the body.

Implants can support single teeth, groups of teeth, or support a full arch prosthesis.

If the general health conditions and the local anatomy of the patients allow it, post-extraction implants can be performed (extraction of one or more teeth and simultaneous placement of implants) and, in some cases, immediate loading (implant placement and prosthesis in the same session).

Furthermore, with guided surgery, it is possible to plan the positioning of the implants using maximum precision software that allows extremely minimally invasive interventions to be carried out, without opening a surgical flap and therefore without sutures, limiting the post-operative course and increasing the comfort of the patients who they are afraid of pain, generating very positive opinions about this modality.

All on 4 or All on 6 are perfect techniques for reducing time and stress and allowing the entire arch with fixed teeth to be rehabilitated through guided surgery and immediate loading in 24 hours, placing only 4 or 6 implants per arch allowing for a lower investment economic. With the All-on-4 combined with immediate loading, patients can receive total implantology with a temporary prosthesis in a few hours
